means "Sitting in the Garden Sunshined".
The powerful sunlight cuts the world out like just a shadow picture.
While the machine， it counts the time passing， made its longer stick go round twice， LEY sat under a big tree alone.
This secion is called "park" ， Ley heard. It’s the place to take a rest and "cooling-down" escaping from heat and sunstroke.
But why? Why did they make a facilitty like this on out-door?!
Ley came from The RIS-TAR-LARNA --the leageu of stars--， so it is hard to understand. How does the people in TERAZANIA --the commonwealth of the planets reclamed by earthian-- think and act? Ofcourse they have good technology to air-control in door!
But... it is very beautiful， looking dark green leaves are dancing with white gold sunlights. And sitting right on sandy ground is extra-ordinary experience for Ris-tar-larno.
Maybe， it is a place for mental efect like this more than for mecha-nical efficiency.
When finishing guesswork， Ley’s worst feeling has gotten better.
"It is a matter of course I can’t understand her solutely， because there are too many differences between our cultures... Damn it!"
Such a dis-communication made the foreigners turned upon， a quarrel about a trifle with a partner made Ley run away from tea-shop， though.
It happend during a late breakfast. Now it is time for lanch.
The sunbeam with heartless heat is sewing darkness on the earth for show. Sitting in the dim light under a big tree， the external world looks like a day-dream.
So， Ley can catch merry voices first. Then a group pass on a path.
The men in a dandy uniform， blue-black with bright red lines， are carrying large parcels and sit in a circle， under the tree in front of Ley’s one.
"What are the piled things wrapped in square cloth?"
They open them. ... ah? ... "How BIG lanch boxes!!" Ley is amazed.
It seems just a daily lanch， not for festival nor ceremony， because they start to eat together， without any special words.
"They all are Big-Eaters! How can they keep their body slim eating such a high calorific value?"
Yes， of course， they are far from fat. They looks very firm-fleshed with dark colored skin and clear-cut faces.
"How hard training? ... Oh， no. It must be hard ’work’! "
Ley heard that some minority races being against the TERAZANIAn rule，love to ’handwork’ without machine power.
If so， the vivid costumes are not uni-forms but folk-wears. And that remind Ley of the red and dark-blued mosaic-work. Growing faint from the heat though， Ley saw them at work tiling on the way to here.

It was one of frontier planet new reclamed by Terazania. Silverry Space-Port-Tower rised from the ground to satellite orbit though， it was ruled by racial self-government. They chose natural simple life over civilization.
The city by the tower， capital and only one， was in a desert on the equator.

Though the Two came here down at daybreak， it had already got too heat.
Because Ley from Ris-Tar-Larna just wore minimum， lemon yellow shorts and sky blue tank-top (three paradise birds printed)， on such red desert.
"Of course I said you must dry up"， a girl in sun & sand guard coat shrugged. "You did not hear me."
"Uh...Ah! It’ll be OK."， Ley said.

Suddenly， white blue luminescence of the ’Key-Wave’ appeared.
It guarded Ley’s body and made the air in ’psy-wall’ cool down. "ha ha! I’m great"， sky blue haired alien triumphed. "Oh... I am afraid of being observed. In Terazania， you look like a naked Scandinavian in heated hell， and"， the girl sneered， "Don’t you know how long we intend to stay here?".

The foreigner groaned. Though Ley had been the strongest in their institute at managing Key-Wave， it was impossible to keep psy-wall longer than hours.
They were called ’Key-Wave Master’ or ’Psy-Tech Engineer’ in Terazanian， ’Es-Passio-non’ (=emotionalist) in Ris-tar-larn. Old Terrestrials thought them， ’the Psychics’， as a kind of ’Gods’ or ’Devils’.

The Sori-Solelu’s Private Institute to study Key-Wave had started a big project at Teraz-Orga’s request， to serch them in all area of Terazania， to investigate how is their human rights， and to examin the class.

Maybe most of undiscovered ’Key-Wavist’ are living in such area"， a Teraz student in Ris， called ’the gifted girl’， explained the circumstances of her home world to Ris-no staffs of the institute.

"And one problem. There were THE FINAL WAR at The Planet Earth about 1，300 years ago. After the destruction， peoples got diferences according as the shelters belonged to The Space Colonists or to The Earth Lovers.

"Many of Key-Wavist have made their ability secret for long time. When the crowd knows it， a person will loss one’s freedom wheather persecution nor deification isolated in sanctuary. Though the girl was a special genius in reserch activities， was not good at managing her own Key-Waves. She sometimes destroyed training rooms in a passion. Ley was afraid she can’t hide it in Teraz lynching area， too.
And she and other Terazanians in this institute didn’t know how to fight

The girl and her friend Terazanian staff， golden haired beauty named Ery， threw the alien into the Sleeping Study Tank with larning program of Teraz official languages and minimum manners. And they prepared so much datum and

But， of course， lazy Ley negleted to read them at all.

サラ・マクラクランは古CD屋で見つけて名前とタイトルで掘り出して来たんだが有名な人なのか？ 低音部のイメージがサキに近いのでもっぱらのBGMであったりする。他にもアルバム出してるようなら教えて下さい。もし知らないなら必聴！ エンヤとインド音楽を煮込んでエコロジーを添えたような味だ。いや今、シチュー鍋がぐつぐついってるんで☆
そのほかのエスパ用BGMはといえば、今回の話のトータルイメージはなぜかマドンナの「ラ・イスラ・ボニータ」。サキに対する視点としてのレイのイメージソングが同じくマドンナの「プリテンダー」と「ステイ」。シンディ・ローパーで「トゥルー・カラーズ」。なんて色気ないやつらだ☆ 地球系開拓惑星連邦（テラザニア）のテーマがシーラ・マジッドの「マヌシア」（この人はマイナーかも知んない。マレーシア人だ。Sheila Majid "Legenda" に所収。日本版は東芝EMI発行）及びサラ・マクラクランの「Touch」。それとシンディに戻って「Iko Iko」。ま、そんなところかな。
あいかわらずエスパの世界は女ばっかり☆ なので男性のゲストキャラが乱入しました。アリーさんの親友で通称「黒公爵」。同性のみを恋愛対象にしている黒髪美形キャラ☆ 実際、長女（サキ）に限ってどーしても余計なムシをつけたくないのは何故なんだろう☆ レイなんか「手当たり次第」のサイテー野郎なのに★ サキほどの美女（？）が人生に3回しか恋愛沙汰がないとゆうのはぜったい不毛よね☆ しかも最後一人で妊娠・出産して心中（後追い自殺）までするという。お手軽な奴☆★
……やっぱり相手の名前が悪かった（？）のね……★
とりあえず今回の話ではリスタルラーナは名前しか出ません。私が完全な所有権を主張したいのはテラザニアについて。でもすでにかなり勝手な歴史とか設定とかでっちあげてるので摺り合わせは必要だろーなぁ☆ 基本的にリスと地球とは「同一の」先祖もしくは実験生物としての創造者を発生源にもってます。惑星リスタルラーナの上に現在あるのは行政府と学都だけで商業機能は衛星軌道に隔離されてます。海もしくは水分は大半が地底に潜ってます。太陽は青白くて、地球でいう蛍光灯の濃くしたような色彩です。暦は十進法で合理的にできてるでしょう。あと、任せた。じつは物理条件はどーでもいい。わたしの興味は社会体制に集中してるので。
「滅亡」に関しては……。謎の古代文明の遺産がじつは「惑星改造装置」とは知らずにいきなり作動させてしまったアホウな「考古学者」が約一名。わずか半日で人口が百分の一になったら気分は小松左京では？ トラウマになりまくったリスタルラーノは、以後、「古い事物に興味を持つな」というインプリンティングから、使い捨て万能文化に走ったりするわけです。
だから生物学的には地球人との混血が可能だ。もとは多様だった外見も遺伝子の管理と人工胎児があたりまえになってから均一化が進んで、まるで現代の日本人のよーに「みんな同じ」と、地球人には思えるよーな中肉中背の茶眼茶髪。はやくも気力減退で種の限界点が垣間見えたりしてるので、突破口としての実験体をパラパラ造り、同じ動機で地球との国交をむりやり開始しました。ソレル女史のよーな銀髪や金髪は実験体である場合が多く、ほかに「二万人に一人」と定められた割合で緑色の髪の人間がキチェスやラフェール人のような役割で存在しています。どちらにしても地球人との顕著な差異は「耳の形が平たくて丸い」という程度。生存に適した気温としては地球の摂氏式で25度くらいを好みます。
愛玩動物と生活を共にする習慣はありません。野性生物と接する機会もほとんど無い。食用の蛋白質はすべて合成品です。ペースト状で、地球に来たリスタルラーノは食生活で相当の苦労を強いられます。
エスパの時代は西暦1990年代から見れば約1300年後……だと思う。磯原清くんが2005年頃の生まれで、約150年後にタイムスリップし、その40年ほど後に地球文明圏は一旦壊滅し、這いずり上がるのに1000年かかった、という計算。謎の超古代文明というやつは恐らくアステロイドと化した旧「草星」あたりにあったのではあるまいか？ 現存する最大の遺跡は地球の月面上にあり、長く地球の「監視」を行っていたらしいことがやがて解明されつつあります。
ちなみに杉谷好一のアホウが破壊しやがったのは「この地球」とは多少異なった歴史を持つ「隣の地球」です。面倒なので小説としてはこちら側のつもりで書く予定だが、どうやら実在する世界かも知れないのはタツヒラチカが傍証してくれました。……「ぼくたま」なんてば目じゃないかも……っ 聞きたい？
ところで「バラを摘んでた女ガンジー」てばリースマリアルのことですか？ 的確☆☆
ESPの科学的説明なんて私が感知してるわけないでしょう。サキの部族語では「気波」と呼ぶ現象です。このへんの話は「斎姫連」で描けると思います……。
ブラッドリーとも方向性は似てると思うよ、かなり。ただエスパがいきなり天皇制否定の話になるとは思っていなかったけど☆ ダレムアスなら中学当時からそうだったんだけどね☆★
